About

I am a Vermont writer with a a B.A. in English from the University of Connecticut. After a successful career in public relations and marketing, I downsized my work life to devote more energy to writing. I’ve been storyteller for businesses and organizations, created digital content, video scripts and product stories. These days I spend more time on my own creative calling.

I write poetry and song lyrics, with a smattering of fiction and nonfiction. I'm an active member of the Burlington Writer’s Workshop, a nonprofit writing support and educational organization based in Burlington VT.

I'm a Consulting Editor and former Poetry Editor of Mud Season Review. My own work has appeared or is forthcoming in Tuck Magazine, Stonecoast Review, Red Wolf JournalMockingHeart Review, HerStory and Cold Lake Anthology.

I live with my husband in northwestern Vermont close to Lake Champlain, the Green Mountains and the beautiful province of Quebec. I took up snowboarding in my forties, and completed hiking the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks in 2011. My guiding motto came to me on the license plate of a coworker's car - NVR2L8.
